I think we are talking about talent management right? most of the company that i have spoken with always start talking about the benefits, career development etc... i just wonder did anyone actually gone out of the top office and talk to their staff on a one on one basis and ask them what really matter to them or that they want.
in many situations, it’s a matter of "different stroke for different folks". being “talent” - i think we cannot approach them with a “one size” fits all!
talents must be managed on an individual basis and it's the understanding their respective aspirations that matters most of them. remember the maslow law of hierarchy – offer the right stuff to the right staff!
