Malaysia Airlines upgrades contact center to expands payment facility

Diners International Malaysia has installed Electronic Data Capture (EDC) terminals at Malaysian Airlines domestic contact centers to allow agents to process Diners Club payments.

Diners has reportedly installed five EDC terminals at the airline's Kuala Lumpur contact center and three EDC terminals at the Kuching facility. Both contact centers can also perform ticketing transactions for overflowed calls from Singapore, America, United Kingdom and New Zealand.

"This facility provides convenience to our customers residing in these countries when they purchase their ticket over the phone," Malaysian Airline's Dr Amin Khan. The new service is available for all existing services through Malaysia Airlines contact center, except those related to Enrich, Customer Feedback and Mishandled Baggage Status.
