An industry group which seeks to unite contact center agents in the Philippines has been officially launched today.
The Association of Call Center Agents of the Philippines (ACCAP) aims to promote and improve the welfare and interest of call center and BPO agents in the Philippines and act as a unifying voice to ensure proper recognition of its important role in nation building. The group has also launched a website for the use of its members.
"Work in a call center is very stressful and monotonous and our portal will serve as their connection to other call center agents wherever they are," said ACCAP secretary-general Kevin Carreon.
